About
Hey guys and gals, my name is Brian Sanders.
First and foremost I am an artist, and have been as far back as I can remember. I was inspired by my mother who was and still is an amazing artist.
When I was thirteen I got my first tattoo and then knew I wanted to be a tattoo artist. (My mom wasn’t too happy when I got that first tattoo, being the age I was, but she has always supported me and my art.)
I practiced on myself with crude tools until I could afford some professional equipment and then met a guy who owned his own shop and asked if he needed some help. He took me on and I did his drawings for him and apprenticed for eight years. I got a chance to learn the business and teach myself what I couldn’t learn from him, reading, researching and studying different artists.
After leaving the shop I apprenticed at, I traveled around doing conventions and working at various shops across the country, learning a lot about different styles and techniques from artists I met and worked with.
Because I believe getting a clean tattoo is as important as getting a good looking tattoo, I did some continuous education on the prevention of disease transmission so that I can create your tattoo safely and prevent myself and my clients from acquiring a disease while giving or getting skin art.
These days tattoo apprenticeships don’t involve much training and pretty much NO education on preventing disease transmission. Keep that in mind when you start scoping out a shop. Be careful where you get you tattoo and who does it.
Ask a lot of questions, look at the shop, look at their work. Is the work quality? Don’t be afraid to get to know the artist and their work before you let them stick you with a needle and leave a permanent mark on your skin. Make sure that picture is something you can show off with pride, not something you’ll regret because you didn’t take the time to make sure that art was done by a real professional.
Now that I’m back in Pennsylvania, I want to take what I’ve learned and use it to offer beautiful body art that will not only meet, but hopefully exceed your expectations.
I love and take immense pride in what I do and I think it shows in my work. I can do any style that meets your needs and wants. I do custom work as well as flash. Have a bad tattoo or want it redone? I do that too. Check out examples of some of the original work I’ve done on this website, or better yet, come into the shop and tell me what you’d like to see.
Let me turn the picture in your mind into the art you want on your skin.
